The Organising Committee and the Scientific Committee invite you to submit proposals for oral communications, posters and commented posters.

If you have interesting abstracts or clinical cases in the related areas below, please don’t hesitate to submit them to share your experience with the world-renowned heart team at EuroCHORUS 2017.


Authors can choose whether to submit an oral communication, a commented poster or a poster. The Scientific Committee will tmke the final decision regarding the type of presentation.

The summary of your abstract must be structured as below:
a. Introduction (Aim)
b. Materials and Methods
c. Results
d. Conclusions
No particular structure is required for clinical cases.

No more than one simple image should be submitted per application (table or illustration).

Abstracts already published in other congresses may also be presented.

The organizers will publish only the papers of accepted abstract candidates who are fully registered to the congress.

3. Structural

- Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy
- Heart Failure Therapies
- Left Atrial Appendage Closure
- PFO and Adult Congenital Heart Disease
- Transcatheter Valve Therapies; aortic and mitral valve
- Mitraclip
- Left ventricular assist device
- Post surgical paravalvular leaks closures
- Interventional Innovation, Emerging Devices and First-in-Human Studies

  • Language

All abstracts must be submitted in English.

  • Declaration of interests

You must indicate your potential conflicts of interest related to the study and theme of your asbtract in the submission, and on your poster or first slide.

  • Important dates

The deadline for submissions will be on December 11, 2016 at midnight. All abstracts received after this date will not be reviewed.
The author will be notified in January 2017 about the Scientific Committee's decision.
Only authors who register to the Congress will be confirmed as presenters.


1. Register as an author and create an account. You may submit more than one abstract per account.
2. Indicate your abstract title.
3. Specify the theme of your abstract by choosing one of the themes.
4. Indicate your conflicts of interest related to the study and theme of your asbtract.
5. Clearly indicate the name of the presenter, and then co-authors. The Scientific Secretariat will need to contact the presenter.
6. Please do not enter more than 250 words.
7. Save your abstract as a draft if you are not ready to submit it. When ready, submit your abstract.
8. An email will immediately confirm that your abstract has been recorded by the system.
9. To submit an additional abstract, connect directly to your account with your login and password.


Abstracts are reviewed and evaluated by the Scientific Committee, depending on the chosen theme.
